Restarting the Touchscreen Tesla Model X
If your touchscreen becomes unresponsive or exhibits unexpected behaviour, you can restart it to see if the problem is resolved.
Warning: Restarting the touchscreen should only be done when the car is in Park to safeguard the safety of the occupants and other road users.
- Put the car in park.
- Hold down both steering wheel scroll buttons until the touchscreen turns black.

- The Tesla logo will show in a few seconds. Allow around 30 seconds for the touchscreen to reactivate. Try power cycling the vehicle if the touchscreen is still unresponsive or behaving strangely after a few minutes.
Note: Using the scroll buttons to restart the touchscreen will not power the Model X on or off.
