Adjusting Liftgate Opening Height Tesla Model S
If your Model S has a motorised liftgate, you can modify the height of the opening to make it easier to reach or avoid low-hanging ceilings or obstacles (such as a garage door or light):
- Manually lower or raise the liftgate to the appropriate opening height after opening it.
- For two seconds, press and hold the button on the liftgate's bottom until you hear a confirmation chime.
- Close the liftgate and reopen it to ensure that it is adjusted to the desired height.
