Our Tesla suction cup bike rack secures easily to smooth surfaces like metal, glass, or fiberglass surfaces. They hold up to two bikes, and use vacuum mounts specially engineered to hold and transport them safely.

Each suction cup needs only to be pressed to the surface for it to stick and has a piston button to vacuum out the air. The suction cup will visibly flatten out as it adheres itself to the surface, not letting go even while experiencing any vibrations from driving over a bumpy road.

Removing the rack is even easier. Just pull the tabs on the edges of the suction cup to release the vacuum pressure and pick up the carrier!

Straightforward bike loading and unloading.

Loading bikes onto the rack takes seconds. First, make sure that the roof and the inner section of the suctions are thoroughly clean. Then remove the front wheel, place the fork into the mount, and tighten the quick release. You don't need any special tools.

Once you complete these steps, hold the rear wheels in place with suction cup wheel cradles that come with double-sided Velcro straps. The wide and strong Velcro straps are long enough to fit even fat bike tires.

How many bikes can I fit onto this Tesla suction bike rack?

You can carry up to two bikes with one of these carrier racks. This is a great option to have if you are planning to go on a bike ride with your friend or a family member.

Is there a speed limit I should maintain with these suction bike rack on my car roof or trunk?

Even though this suction rack are incredibly strong and the fork-mount racks are extremely secure, we recommend that you drive under 75 mph (120 km/h). Please observe all speed limits posted on the road.

How do I keep my pedal from hitting my roof when my bike is mounted?

One easy way is to align your crank arm with your bike frame and put Velcro around it to make sure that the crank can’t come loose.

How do I know if there is enough suction pressure?

There is an obvious white section on each plunger button to indicate whether the cup is secure. Any white on the pump indicates it needs to be pumped more. Usually, gently pumping the plunger button 30 times is enough to achieve maximum suction pressure. 

Are there any precautions to take before using the Tesla suction bike rack?

Always make sure your car roof (particularly where you will place the suction cups on) is completely clean. You should also inspect if your suction cup’s inner sides are free from dirt and sand.

Moreover, if your carrier is installed on the sunroof, do not open it.

Can I just put this rack on and forget about them?

No, once you put on the bike carrier, check the suction cups every 4 hours. If you see that the suction force has depleted (i.e. any white part on the piston is showing), pump on it a few times until it vanishes again.

Will the Suction Bike Carrier rack damage my Tesla’s finish?

Not at all! Unlike permanent bike racks that need to be bolted in, these carriers use suction cups that do not cause any chips or marks to your Tesla’s paint job.

My bike is shorter/longer than the standard, will it fit?

Yes, absolutely. This carrier is completely adjustable to your bike size since you can put the rear wheel cradle anywhere on your car. Longer bikes will need more distance between the rack and the rear wheel holders while shorter bikes will need less so. You might need to do some experimenting first to find the perfect gap depending on your Tesla’s layout of edges, windows, bumpers, and spoilers.

How do you remove the suction bike rack once it’s attached?

To remove the vacuum cup, move the tab of the top of the vacuum pad up and toward the center of the mount with your finger. The vacuum seal breaks as soon as you lift the edge of the vacuum pad, allowing you to remove your Suction Bike Carrier.

Does the suction bike rack work in the rain?

Yes, absolutely. The suction bike carrier is typically stronger when wet, so the rain shouldn't affect the carrier.

How do I store these Tesla suction bike racks when I am not using them?

Use dish soap and a soft cloth or sponge to clean the vacuum pad. Ensure that there is no dirt or debris on the pad's sealing edge (bottom outside edge). Then store the carrier in a box, away from sunlight at above 59°F (15°C). Keep the piston rod clean and lubricated for maximum performance.
